SUBJECT: The Asambe Program.
There’s always a measure for what it means to be successful. What it means to be a contributor to a society that thrives on the back of their decisions. To take actions that lead everyone to a better tomorrow and to have your name added to the records of greatness that other are etched into.
The first time I saw the poster that said- ASAMBE, I knew that we’d done something that would be remembered for the rest of time. IT felt like a movie. Like we were creating a marketing campaign for just another company or project that wanted to mark up its prices and increase its bottom line. But this was for the abandonment of worlds. To ease the minds of citizens to know that, slowly, we will be packing up and leaving the planet they once considered home.
This wasn’t the first rehousing project of the Asambe program, but it was the second. The Executives seem so certain that more will follow, but I always believed the point of this was to avoid having to do it again in the future. Maybe I’m wrong, but something about the program feels… off.
In the meantime, I guess I’m grateful to be a part of something so massive and new. A company dedicated to rehousing citizens of entire planets isn’t a business that would’ve existed a few hundred years ago.
This is the next frontier.
There’s nowhere else I’d rather be.
