Izzy turned 12 today and came into our bedroom at 5 a.m., screaming “I will be the greatest pilot in the galaxy!” and demanding we sign her up for pilot training. Unbeknownst to her, we already did, and her first class is later today.
Her passion for piloting is strong, deeper than my love for engineering. It’s been this way since she was 8 years old and would go to sleep with the little toy cargo ship her sister got her. So, her Father and I decided to found Montoya Racing, where she will train to become a pilot for the Technology corporation that will enable me to pursue developments I haven’t had permission to pursue and her Father the control he hasn’t been given at ATÜM.
I can’t wait to see the look on her face when she arrives at the Cath Training Centre later today.
